The Whitman Family Foundation is a private nonprofit foundation founded in 2007 by Wayne Whitman and his wife Diane. Built upon the values of their strong Catholic Christian faith and inspired by their gratitude to God for the blessings He has bestowed upon their family, the Whitmans established the Foundation with the hopes of serving as an instrument of God’s goodness and mercy in this world.

Our mission focuses on many: children and child advocacy, the poor, the homeless, those struggling with illnesses both of the body and mind, the communities of schools and churches, and organizations that support these groups and ideals. We certainly strive to help as many as possible, but we generally choose to work with and support our local charities and nonprofit organizations as our resources are limited.

“For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.”  – Matthew 25:35-36
